Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing.

Non-members: SAVE MONEY by joining the American

the meeting, you will receive 15 months embership for the

Badges
Registration identification badges must be worn for
admission to all sessions, meetings, workshops and
social functions. Replacement badges may be obtained at
the registration desk for a fee of $5.00.
Exhibits
Exhibits will be open longer hours this year to allow more time
to visit the booths and spend more quality time with the
vendors.

Daily Prize Drawings!
Your registration packet will have a prize drawing card for
each day of the convention exhibits. Visit the exhibitors
and place your card in the drawing box Wednesday and
Thursday for an opportunity to win!
Refreshments
Beverages will be provided at each of the breaks between
sessions: Wednesday: 10:00 am, Thursday: 10:15 am
and 2:30 pm, Friday: 10:30 am
Continuing Education Credit
MSCLS is an approved provider of continuing education
by the P.A.C.EŽ program, which is accepted by the Board
of Registry (BOR) Certification Maintenance Program and
all states. The MSCLS annual meeting offers a wide
range of educational opportunities to meet your continuing
education requirements. Over 60 hours of quality P.A.C.EŽ
approved programming will be offered. Attendees will selfprepare
their P.A.C.EŽ Certificate of Attendance after the
meeting by using the online ASCLS CE organizer
program. Instructions will be included in the registration
packet.
Poster Sessions - Continuing Education
Opportunity
New this year will be the opportunity to obtain P.A.C.EŽ
approved continuing education credit by attending the
Poster Presentations. See information for session #5 on
page 5.
General Objectives of the Meeting
Through participation in the MSCLS Annual Meeting,
attendees will be able to:
1. Integrate the latest technologies into clinical laboratory
practice.
2. Use management techniques and strategies to meet
the challenges of running a laboratory.
3. Correlate human pathophysiology and clinical
laboratory data with disease states.
4.Network with peers and learn from the experiences of
other laboratory professionals.
